At Spring House Pilates of Ohio, we often talk about meeting the body where it is today.
But for some clients, “today” comes with a little more complexity — and a greater need for support.
Two of those seasons show up again and again in the studio:
• navigating cancer recovery
• returning to movement in thefirst year after having a baby
Both are powerful transitions.
Both deserve thoughtful, individualized care.
And both can come with barriers — physical, emotional, and sometimes financial.
Why Support Matters in These Seasons
Cancer Recovery
Clients coming out of treatment are often rebuilding from the ground up.
Energy levels fluctuate.
Strength may feel unfamiliar.
There’s a need for:
• careful progression
• awareness of surgical or treatment-related changes
• space to rebuild confidence in the body
This is where Pilates — and specifically individualized programming — can make a meaningful difference.
New Moms (First Year Postpartum)
The postpartum year is its own kind of recovery.
Sleep is unpredictable.
The body is adapting.
There’s a constant balance between caring for a baby and finding time to care for yourself.
What new moms often need most is:
• a supportive environment
• appropriately paced return to strength
• a space where both baby and mom are considered
Introducing the Bounce Back Circle
Bounce Back Circle is a simple idea rooted in community.
It allows support to flow quietly within the studio — without labels, applications, or complicated systems.
When a client purchases a Bounce Back Circle: Buy One, Give One session:
• they receive credits for a 60-minute group or 30min 1:1 session at a thank-you rate
• an additional session is made available to support a client in a recovery or transition phase
That might be:
• someone navigating cancer recovery
• a new mom in her first year postpartum
• or another client who benefits from additional support during a specific season
No Labels. Just Support.
One of the most important parts of this model is what it doesn’t do.
It doesn’t:
• require income-based qualification
• ask clients to explain their situation
• separate people into “groups”
Instead, it allows support to be guided by:
where it will make the most difference
Quietly. Respectfully. Intentionally.
A Community Approach to Care
Spring House has always been more than a place to take a class. It’s a place where:
• relationships matter
• consistency matters
• showing up — in whatever way you can — matters
The Bounce Back Circle simply extends that idea.
It creates a way for:
• one client’s session
to help support
• another client’s return to movement
If You’d Like to Participate
Bounce Back Circle sessions are available in limited quantities throughout the year.

No pressure. No expectation. Just an option to participate in the kind of community we’re building together.
Final Thought
Recovery doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens in small, supported steps.
Sometimes the most meaningful part of that process is simply:
knowing there’s a place — and a community — that makes space for you.
